Corinthian Naturopathic College
Is a transnational Christian educational institution of higher learning, organized for the purpose of offering independent study program in natural health leading to a non-traditional degree Doctor of Naturopathy (ND) and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) for medical doctors, osteopathic doctors and chiropractic doctors. We are accredited by American Alternative Medical Association, and affiliated with Corinthian Naturopathic Private Institute in the Philippines, who is accredited by Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC).
As people are increasingly becoming aware that drugs, chemicals, surgical procedures, and radiation treatments of diseases by the medical establishments do not always meet the expectation of the consumers for a better health, plus the concern over the skyrocketing cost of modern medicine, has led to a search for natural, safe and cost-effective alternative treatment of diseases.
Interest in a non-traditional alternative health care education has increased in recent years. This school seeks to cater to the needs of the people who are seeking knowledge in natural and alternative health, and promote the awareness that the human body has its own powerful capabilities of healing itself. There is an alternative to conventional medicine in achieving optimum health. According to Jonathan Swift, the best doctors of the world are: Dr. Diet, Dr. Quiet, Dr. Waterman, and Dr. Merryman, Dr. Walker,
The school’s philosophy is based on a Christian perspective that the creator God is also the Great Physician. The Psalmist says we are “fearfully and wonderfully made…” Psalms 139:14. God has given us a blueprint on how to take care of the most intricate machinery—the human body. The basic health principles came from His divinely inspired books. The course is designed to teach the student on how “to make man whole” through restoring the total person physically, intellectually, spiritually and morally. It will also teach on how to attain good health, happiness, and prosperity in life. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 2
The school also believes in the divine principles of health and healing as revealed to man by his Creator in the Holy Scriptures. The school makes no apology in using naturopathic health principles advanced in the writings of Ellen G. White, using the eighth natural health principles, of which reflects the true meaning of Naturopathy.
“There are many ways of practicing the healing art; but there is only one way that Heaven approves. God's remedies are the simple agencies of nature that will not tax or debilitate the system through their powerful properties. Pure air and water, cleanliness, a proper diet, purity of life, and a firm trust in God, are remedies for the want of which thousands are dying; yet these remedies are going out of date because their skillful use requires work that the people do not appreciate. Fresh air, exercise, pure water, and clean, sweet premises, are within the reach of all, with but little expense; but drugs are expensive, both in the outlay of means, and the effect produced upon the system.” Healthful Living, p. 225, E. G. White.
We believe that God has created man in His own image (Genesis 1:26). “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Therefore, man is responsible for his own well-being. “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31.
Naturopathy agrees with God’s universal health laws of cause and effect, “for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Gal. 6:7. This course of study is designed to help restore man in God’s image. “Having therefore these promises dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all the filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness (wholeness) in the fear of God.” II Corinthians 17:1. Cleansing and detoxification of the body is the first and foremost in combating any form diseases.
For this reason, the name Corinthian Naturopathic College was appropriately chosen because natural healing is Biblically sound as contained in the book of Corinthians, and also in other books of the Bible such as the book of Proverbs, Leviticus, Psalms, etc.
